Moto G37, Moto G37 Power Launched in India With Dimensity 6400: Price, Specs and Sale Date
Quick Highlights
Motorola has expanded its budget smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power. Both devices are aimed at entry-level buyers who want a clean Android experience with modern features like a high refresh rate display, 5G support, and a large battery.

The highlight this time is the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 chipset, paired with Android 16 out of the box, along with two different battery sizes depending on the model.
Moto G37, Moto G37 Power Price in India and Availability
Motorola has priced the Moto G37 at Rs 13,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage variant. It will be available in Pantone Capri and Pantone Impenetrable colour options.
The Moto G37 Power starts at Rs 15,999 for the 4GB + 128GB model, while the 8GB + 128GB variant is priced at Rs 18,999. The Power model will be sold in three shades, including Pantone Nautical Blue.
Both smartphones will go on sale starting May 25 through Flipkart, the Motorola India website, and offline retail stores.
Launch Offers: Up to Rs 5,500 Discount
As part of introductory offers, Motorola is providing:
- Rs 5,000 instant discount on IDFC, ICICI, and SBI credit cards
- Rs 5,500 instant discount on IDFC credit card EMI transactions
This makes the effective pricing more competitive, especially in the sub-Rs 15,000 segment where brands are aggressively pushing 5G models.
Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power Display and Design

Both phones feature the same display setup:
- 6.6-inch HD+ LCD panel
- 120Hz refresh rate
- 120Hz touch sampling rate
- Up to 1,050 nits peak brightness (HBM)
- Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection
While the resolution remains HD+, the 120Hz refresh rate should still deliver smoother scrolling and better day-to-day fluidity, especially for social media usage and casual gaming.
The devices also come with IP64 dust and splash resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification, which is a strong bonus at this price point.
Performance: Dimensity 6400 and RAM Boost Support
The Moto G37 and G37 Power are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, a chipset built for entry-level 5G smartphones with a focus on stable performance and efficiency.
The Moto G37 comes with:
- 4GB LPDDR4x RAM
- 64GB UFS 2.2 storage
The Moto G37 Power offers:
- up to 8GB LPDDR4x RAM
- 128GB UFS 2.2 storage
Both phones support RAM Boost up to 12GB and expandable storage up to 1TB via microSD card.
This kind of memory expansion trend is becoming increasingly common across brands as smartphones attempt to maintain smooth multitasking without pushing base pricing too high — something we discussed earlier in Airtel Launches Priority Postpaid With India’s First 5G Network Slicing, Plans Start at Rs 449, where better real-world performance is becoming a key marketing focus.

Cameras: 50MP Main Sensor on Both Models

Motorola has equipped both devices with the same rear camera setup:
- 50MP primary camera (f/1.8, PDAF)
- secondary sensor described as a 2-in-1 light sensor (ambient + flicker detection)
For selfies and video calls, both phones include an:
- 8MP front camera
The camera setup is clearly focused on basic photography and daily use, rather than ultra-wide or telephoto versatility.
Battery: 5,200mAh vs 7,000mAh
Battery is the biggest difference between the two phones.
Moto G37 packs:
- 5,200mAh battery
- 20W fast charging
Moto G37 Power includes:
- 7,000mAh battery
- 30W wired fast charging
Both phones support:
- 6W reverse wired charging
The Power model’s 7,000mAh battery could appeal strongly to users who want multi-day endurance, especially students and heavy media consumers.
Connectivity and Other Features
Connectivity options include:
- 5G and 4G LTE
- Wi-Fi 5
- Bluetooth 5.4
- GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, BeiDou
- USB Type-C
- 3.5mm headphone jack
Both phones feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, which remains a reliable choice for budget devices.
TechularZtrix Take
Motorola’s Moto G37 lineup looks like a practical refresh for budget buyers who prioritize clean software and battery life. The base Moto G37 targets value seekers, but the G37 Power stands out with its massive 7,000mAh battery — a specification that could become a major differentiator in the Rs 15,000 segment.
The HD+ panel may not impress spec-hunters, but for everyday usage, the combination of 120Hz refresh rate, Dimensity 6400, Android 16, and strong durability ratings makes this a sensible package on paper.
