The new Honor 600 series has officially launched in China, and the lineup is clearly targeting premium mid-range buyers who want flagship-style hardware without ultra-premium pricing. The series includes the Honor 600 Pro, Honor 600 Vitality Edition, and Honor 600 Super Edition, with all three phones bringing large batteries, AMOLED displays, Android 16, and upgraded camera systems.

The biggest highlight is the Honor 600 Pro, which debuts with the new MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Elite chipset, while the Super Edition grabs attention with its gigantic 8,600mAh battery. The launch also shows how aggressively Chinese smartphone brands are now competing in battery technology and AI-focused mobile experiences.

Honor’s latest release arrives shortly after leaks around the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra naming changes and the launch of the Vivo Y600 Turbo with a 9000mAh battery, making 2026 one of the most competitive smartphone years yet.

Honor 600 Pro Price and Variants

The Honor 600 Pro starts at CNY 3,399 (roughly Rs. 51,000) for the 12GB + 256GB model. The 12GB + 512GB version costs CNY 3,799, while the top-end 16GB + 512GB model is priced at CNY 4,199.

The Honor 600 Pro features a 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and full-HD+ resolution. The screen also delivers a high screen-to-body ratio, giving the device a modern premium look with slim bezels.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Elite chipset paired with the Mali-G720 MC8 GPU. Honor is offering up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, making this one of the most powerful Honor phones in this segment.

On the camera side, the phone includes a triple rear camera setup led by a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS support. It also gets a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto lens and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide macro camera. For selfies, the device uses a 50-megapixel front camera.

The Honor 600 Pro packs a massive 8,000mAh battery with support for 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging.

The Honor 600 Super Edition is easily the most eye-catching model in the lineup because of its gigantic 8,600mAh battery. Smartphone brands have been aggressively pushing battery capacities in 2026, and Honor is clearly joining that race.

The phone is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and features up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage. It also carries a 200-megapixel main camera alongside a 12-megapixel ultra-wide sensor.

Despite the huge battery, the phone still supports 80W fast charging.

Battery-focused launches are becoming increasingly common this year, especially after devices like the Lava Shark 2 5G and Vivo Y600 Turbo entered the market with unusually large battery capacities.

The Honor 600 Vitality Edition sits slightly below the Pro and Super Edition models but still offers competitive hardware. It uses the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and features a dual-camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide camera.

The phone carries a 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging support, making it another battery-focused smartphone aimed at heavy users.

Honor has also included Android 16-based MagicOS 10 across the lineup, which means users get the company’s latest AI features and software improvements right out of the box.

Honor Is Clearly Pushing Bigger Batteries in 2026

One noticeable trend from the Honor 600 series launch is the aggressive focus on battery life. Just a couple of years ago, 5,000mAh batteries were considered large. Now, brands are comfortably shipping phones with 7,000mAh to 9,000mAh capacities.

The Honor 600 Super Edition’s 8,600mAh battery shows that Chinese smartphone makers are prioritising endurance as a major selling point alongside AI features and camera upgrades.

The Honor 600 series feels like a strong response to the increasingly crowded upper mid-range smartphone market. The Honor 600 Pro delivers flagship-style camera hardware and performance, while the Super Edition pushes battery technology to another level entirely.

If Honor expands these phones globally, they could become serious competitors against devices from Xiaomi, Vivo, Realme, and Samsung in the premium mid-range category.
